Farooq
Ahmad joined CDC in April, 2007 as Business Development
Officer. Being in this capacity, he is part of our dynamic team,
which consistently endeavors to build the future of our exciting
and rapidly growing organization. He has a key role in the success
of our organization that he pursues by vigorously soliciting new
business clients from prospects, leads, and expanding relationships
with current clients.
Important
functions of his job are:
•
Work to foster new and expand existing customer relationships through
presentations in meetings, exhibits at industry forums, and by making
calls.
• Manage the borrowers and lenders expectations.
• Help clients and lenders in structuring 504 transactions.
• Package, process and underwrite 504 transactions.
• Present the loan request to loan committee.
• Assist in closing the loan.
The
academic accomplishments of Farooq include Masters in Business Administration
(MBA) with concentration in Finance from DeVry University Sherman
Oaks, California, an undergrad in Mechanical Engineering from National
University of Science & Technology (NUST), and a Post Graduation
Certificate in Marine Engineering System Management. The professional
courses include Human Resource and Management Course, and Courses
from NADCO at Monterey, California which include 504-Credit Analysis
Course and 504-Advanced Credit Analysis Course.
Prior
joining CDC, his previous professional assignments include a prestigious
service of almost 4 years onboard ships executing the duties of
administration & management, project management, and engineering.
He has also served at an engineering school as instructor for one
