CDC (formerly known as Long Beach Area CDC) is a private, non-profit
corporation, licensed and certified by the U.S. Small Business
Administration to provide low-cost, long-term SBA loans to assist
eligible small businesses in California.
The
CDC is an experienced SBA lender with an extensive history of
successfully financing business expansion projects. Formed in
January of 1979, the CDC has an active Board of Directors and
a membership of fifty representatives from government and private
sector institutions, community organizations and businesses. All
are committed to and supportive of the growth of small businesses
in California.
In
addition to its duties as a direct SBA Lender, the CDC offers
SBA 7(a) loan packaging and loan placement services throughout
California. The CDC also has Intermediary designations from the
Los Angeles and Santa Ana District Offices of the U.S. Small Business
Administration for Pre-Qualification loans.
The
CDC is in the growth business and is anxious to assist the applicants
in the expansion of their business through various loan programs.
